Welcome to Frameless!
Photographers know that the act of capturing a moment in time forever is always more than just a simple click of a button. Digital photography allows us the ability to capture so many more memories than a roll of film once did, and now we can even adjust the lighting, exposure, and filters at the swipe of a finger directly through our cameras themselves. All of these new advances in the digital camera realm mean that we now hold the power to create a perfect photograph at our fingertips, however, the general rules of photography still make some photographs stand apart from the rest: like when the lighting is perfect, the subjects of the photo are within the rule of thirds, or the photo has natural framing.
This is Frameless, a collection of digital photographs taken by Jeannette Chambliss for the course "Digital Photography for Interactive Media (IMD324)". Here you will find photographs spaning a wide range of subjects and themes, all of which will further explore the rules of photography in a journal entry format. Please enjoy your stay, and remember:
Photography is more than just a click of a button, it's a way to preserve and cherish a moment in time.
