This assignment required three raw photos showcasing wildlife. As I live close to a pond, I took a walk and captured some really beautiful photos of the wild ducks.
After each photograph below, a journal entry will be found containing all the meta data from the camera at the time of the photograph, as well as any comments or concerns I had with each photograph.
Comments and Concerns: This duck was really curious about me, but since I had no food, it seemed to stay close but kept its guard up. As it was walking away, I ended up capturing this pretty shot of it looking back at me.
Comments and Concerns: The ducks were bathing and pruning their feathers, and I noticed that after dunking themselves under water, they often reared up and flapped their wings. I was able to get a few shots of this happening without using my burst mode on my camera, but this one captured the exact wing extension I was hoping for, simply by chance.
Comments and Concerns: After a good bath and swim, this duck waddled up to this tree stump and quickly decided upon naptime. I was able to get close enough to get this shot and not disturb the duck in the process. I love how peaceful this shot looks overall.
