Hello and welcome to JC Website Pixels! My name is Jeannette, founder and owner of JC Website Pixels, and I am a 100% remote WordPress website developer, logo designer, and social media marketer/manager who specializes in creating responsive, mobile-first websites, and engaging and interactive social media pages. If you want a website built from the ground up, have a website that needs revisions, need a logo or rebranding, or need help getting your social media pages managed, I would love to hear from you!
Within the pages of JC Website Pixels you will find many examples of my work--each with a detailed write-up that explains the project in greater detail, challenges I faced and how I overcame them. All of these projects have been created and completed in a safe, 100% remote setting. I have a dedicated office space at home, high-speed Internet, and access to the Adobe Creative Suite of programs. In the past I have met with clients via Google Meets in order to get all the details needed to create a fully complete project. I also send frequent updates via email and post to my project Trello board which is privately shared with the client/team. Explore my work and lets work together to create excellence for you and your company.
This is just a snapshot of some of my projects. You can click on the title or images to be taken to the projects' page where you will find a more detailed look into the specifics of creating and completing it. I'm looking forward to creating something amazing with you soon!
Created over the course of many years, this robust resource for rabbit owners and lovers alike is a complete website redesign and upgrade for House Rabbit Resource Network (HRRN). The website itself contains a mix of WordPress and hand-coding along with fully-functional donation links and several contact forms for adoptions, sponsorships and volunteer opportunities at the shelter. This was my largest project to date and one that also gave me the title of Project Manager, delegating tasks to a small team to ensure this website stayed on track and launched as smoothly as possible.
This lovely blog was designed for an award-winning blogger and artist who is living with metastatic breast cancer. The website itself went through two revisions, and collaboration was key in getting the final design planned out and active. Renee has a strong presence online and this website is a professional place for her to keep her thoughts and art organized and enjoyed by many.
A friend asked me to assist in designing a logo for her counseling business. We researched colors, fonts and sizes. With the final design approved, it now proudly marks her place of business and I am thrilled to have been a part of this process for such an important part of her branding.
After working exclusively with lighter colors, I was happy to meet the challenge of designing a fully responsive, mobile-first website that utilized a dark color pallet without feeling like a blackhole. This site was created entirely using Bootstrap4, and then modified with AJAX, JSON, and MySQL. I adore the finished project.
When asked to create a logo for a public garden that is known for attracting an abundance of hummingbirds, I knew right away that a hummingbird had to be included in the design. I'm really pleased with the final logo design that was chosen for Ember Gardens.
